I vividly recall my visit to the Zyber Hallulli orphanage, because of a young girl who couldn't have been more than five years old. She was so sweet and loving; as soon as she saw me, she came up and gave me a warm hug. Despite her young age, she had such a gentle and kind spirit.
As we talked, I noticed she had a cast on her arm. It was poorly wrapped, but she didn't let it stop her from dancing and jumping around, clearly enjoying herself with the other children. Her joy was infectious, and I couldn't help but smile at her resilience and spirit. Curious and concerned, I gently asked one of the caretakers about her injury. They explained that another child had accidentally twisted her arm, causing it to break. Hearing this, my heart sank. I looked more closely at the cast and saw that the bandage was loose and inadequately supporting her arm. It was clear that it needed proper medical attention.
It saddened me to think that such a sweet and lively child had to endure this. Despite her pain, she still found reasons to smile and play. I knew I had to help her, not just because of my medical background but because she deserved better care and support.
All the children were incredibly sweet and funny. A group of little boys was fascinated by my phone and started playing games on my lap before running off to take selfies of each other. Watching these children, who were so loving and full of joy, made my day. It was heartwarming to see them having so much fun and enjoying each other's company.
